The Story Behind the Crown
Where It All Began
Crown Code Solutions started as DCG Divine Coding Group in September 2025 — the same month its founder, Adedayo Yanbode, wrote his first line of code. The first project was DCG Animals, a simple static site about pet care. It was a beginner's project. But it proved something: code could become something real, something public.
What followed was the Crown Code Challenge — five functional tools built in two weeks: an invoice generator, a quiz app, an expense tracker, a countdown timer, and an event programme builder. Each one live. Each one solving a specific problem. The challenge grew a TikTok following from 80 to over 320 people watching a developer learn in public.
From Projects to Products
Then came real projects: Grace Covenant Church, a full-featured church website. TechNova Store, a gadget shop with WhatsApp ordering. Chrisdon Technologies, a concept demo that proved the value of local business websites. Client-ready work. Professional. Deployed.
Today, Crown Code Solutions builds AI-powered tools like CrownScribe — an intelligent OCR engine that extracts text from any image — and delivers professional websites for businesses across Nigeria. The stack is simple: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js. No frameworks. No shortcuts. Just systems that work.
